20 people were confirmed at a kimchi factory in Chungnam.

It was decided to collect and discard both the kimchi stored in the factory and the kimchi that was recently distributed in the market, but the quarantine authorities said there would be no risk of infection through food.

Corona 19 mass infection occurred at Hanul Nongsan, a kimchi manufacturer in Bibong-myeon, Cheongyang, Chungnam.




The first employee to be confirmed was a woman in her 20s with a Nepali nationality, and she showed symptoms of fever from the afternoon of the 1st and was tested and confirmed.



A diagnostic test was conducted on 134 people in contact with the dormitory and the factory, resulting in 19 additional infections including employees and their families.



In addition to the dormitories, there are many employees in their 30s to 60s who commute from nearby Boryeong and Hongseong, and there is a growing concern about the spread of nth infection to nearby cities and counties, centering on factories.
