Yesterday (7th) At around 8:30 pm, 4 houses were buried due to the collapse of earth and sand from the back mountain of Osan-myeon, Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do.


Police and fire departments rescued three people, including Kim Mo, a 71-year-old woman, but they all died and estimates that two more were buried near the burial site.

Due to the worsening weather and concerns about further landslides, the search for the investigators was suspended around 0 o'clock on the day, and 55 villagers evacuated to nearby Osan Elementary School.

Police and fire departments will resume rescue operations as weather improves, and after the rescue is complete, they will investigate the exact nature of the accident.
