Minister of Justice Chu Mi-ae instructed the Supreme Prosecutors' Office to investigate the case of former Prime Minister Han Myung-sook. It overturned the order of Prosecutor Yoon Seok-Yeul, who asked the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office to investigate the case. It was only once in 2005 that the Attorney General exercised power over the Attorney General, and this is the second time.

Ministry of Justice said that the Minister of Justice Chu Mi-ae instructed the Supreme Prosecutors' Office to investigate the complaints related to the former Prime Minister Han Myung-sook.

In response to the case, which was convicted in the Supreme Court in 2015, it is a measure related to a recent complaint that inmates who were witnesses at the time were threatened with perjury by the prosecutor.

Prosecutor Yoon Seok-Yeul said the case was not overlooked because the disciplinary statute of the case was over. It was reconciled to the Seoul Central District Attorney's Human Rights Commissioner.

Earlier today (18th), at the National Assembly's judiciary, the rulings of the ruling party over the cultivation of President Yoon's case continued, and Minister Chu also suggested the possibility of command.

[Kim Yong-min/Deputy Democratic Party of the Democratic Party (the National Assembly lawmaker): Isn't it a way to avoid cooking methods to cover the wrongs of the prosecutor? Is the Prosecutor General's use of dividends and the right to conduct the case carelessly?]

[Chumi Ae/Minister of Justice: I think it should still be corrected. I will take steps to correct it.]

The Ministry of Justice said Chu has exercised the right to supervise the Minister of Justice as set forth in the Prosecutor's Office Act.

It is the second time that the Minister of Justice has exercised the right to supervise the Attorney General's office since the Minister of Justice Kang Jeong-gu's Dongguk University in 2005 violated the National Security Law.

At the time, Prosecutor General Jong-bin Kim resigned shortly after he fulfilled the order of former Minister of Chun.

For this reason, there is an interpretation that the directive is based on the intention of the former Prime Minister Han Myung-sook to repress President Seok-Yeol Yun and the intention of Secretary-General Chu Mi-ae.

The Greatsword did not respond to Mr. Chu's orders.

The conflict between the two sides is expected to increase in the process of investigating the case, when Prosecutor General Han Dong-soo, who had established a conflict with President Yoon, is investigating the case.
