Four more Chinese per capita smugglers were caught by boat from China to the Taean coast.

The Taean Maritime Police said today (31) that on the 26th, after arresting a male Chinese immigrant, two additional smugglers and two transportation aids that helped them were also arrested.

Police investigation revealed that they had simulated smuggling in order to find employment in onion farms in Jeollanam-do based on their past experience in Korea.

To this end, it is said that 8 people per day prepared 1.7 million won each, and prepared motor boats, etc. to be smuggled into the coast of Taean Uihang Beach.

Some of the gang members caught by the police were reportedly embroiled under psychological pressure as the investigation narrowed.

Police are also considering converting public investigations to arrest the remaining two suspects.
