During this confinement period, Google decided to launch the free version of Stadia. Better yet, the American giant also offers a two-month subscription to the Pro version of its cloud gaming service, i.e. video games without a console, as well as a selection of nine titles.

The free version of Stadia has been in place since Wednesday at 6 p.m. However, it is being launched gradually. It is therefore possible that not everyone has access to this version yet, explains 01Net . To register, all you need is a Gmail address.

To help people connect with friends online & have some fun during these challenging times, we're opening up Stadia for everyone. You'll also get 2 months of free access to Stadia Pro with some free games to play!

Two months of Stadia Pro offered for all users

In addition to this new free version, users can benefit from two free months to the Stadia Pro offer, normally billed at 9.99 euros per month. In this version, players have free access to a selection of nine games each month. Also note that people who are already subscribed to this offer will also benefit from these two months offered.

As a reminder, Stadia is a service that allows you to play video games without a console. All you need is a computer or mobile device, as well as a controller (from PS4 or Xbox, for example) or a keyboard and mouse. Stadia is also available on a TV using the Chromecast Ultra, but in this case, you will also need to buy the controller sold by Google.
