A car driver who has fled for more than 1 km attempts to escape after entering a standing truck, but is soon caught by the police.

On Monday, 20-year-old Kim Mo ran from a Uijeongbu residential district in Gyeonggi-do after stealing a car parked with a key.

He tried to get out of the police but crashed into a cleaning vehicle standing on a two-lane, two-way street, and the escape was over.

The driver tried to escape by driving back after an accident, but was arrested by a police officer who blocked his way back and forth.

[Witness: Loud. The people around me look out the window… The police chased him and got him off the car and handcuffed it.]

Kim reportedly told police that he was guilty of driving if he saw his car without a license.

[Police officer: You're not licensed and the police officers are chasing you, so you're afraid of punishment.

The police, who confirmed that they had committed similar crimes before, arrested Kim and handed over to the prosecution.
