Former President Lee Myung-bak, who was sentenced to 17 years in prison on appeal, is released six days after he was arrested in court.

The first part of the Seoul High Law Criminal Court suspended the arrest today after Lee's appeal against the decision to cancel bail.

The court said, "From May 25, we will suspend enforcement of the arrest until the Supreme Court's decision on the appeal of the bailout decision."

Just as last year, when the judge allowed bail for former presidents, the court limited housing to non-hyundong homes in Seoul.

In a decision to suspend, former President Lee is released today from the Seoul Eastern Hemisphere.

Sixteen years after he was sentenced to 17 years in prison on appeal and canceled, he was arrested in court.

It is quite unusual for the court to suspend execution of a defendant who was arrested in court with the bail being canceled for a sentence of death.

The former president's attack on the bailout decision was accepted.

Mr. Lee appealed to the Supreme Court today for a bail cancellation decision and insisted that the bail be suspended in accordance with applicable laws.

Former President Lee cited the section 410 of the Criminal Procedure Act, stating that the trial will be suspended when the immediate appeal is filed or when an immediate appeal is filed.

As the appeal, which is the same as the immediate appeal, is raised against the court's decision to cancel bail, the bail cancellation must be suspended until the decision is made.

The Appeals Tribunal said, "When there is a conflict of appeal on the decision to cancel the appeal appeal, there is a conflict of opinion on whether the suspension is effective.
