Stadia: no 4G game at launch nor wireless without Chromecast - Geeko

The catalog for Stadia, Google’s game streaming platform, is expected to fill in 2020. The web giant promises 120 new releases this year, including 10 exclusives that will be at least temporary in the first half of the year. These exclusives should of course cost a lot of money to Google, which has to face a very big competition against players already well established.

Since its launch, the Google platform has been the subject of much criticism for its skinny game catalog, which has only twenty games, and its features - far from fulfilling Google's promises at the announcement of the program.

Lots of promises to fulfill

In this regard, Google promises the gradual deployment of all the announced features with 4K support, wireless support on all platforms and support for a larger number of devices as a starting point.

It will now remain to specify the line-up for the coming months and the publishing strategy of Google, which remains very mysterious, in particular with regard to the exclusivities of its platform…
