Kang Kyung-hoon, the vice president of Samsung Electronics, was sentenced to one year and four months' imprisonment.

On June 13, 33 of the Seoul Central District Criminal Criminal Deliberation (Judge Dong-hwan Son) sentenced Mr. Kang to one year and four months in jail on charges of breaches, violations of labor unions, and labor relations adjustment laws.

The court did not restrain the court in order to guarantee Kang's defense.

Mr. Kang has been accused of disrupting Everland's union activities by establishing a labor union based on the labor-management strategy prepared by the Samsung Group's Future Strategy Office from June 2011 to March 2011.

There are also accusations of illegally collecting personal information while continuously following and monitoring union members and their families.
