“Work on the unification of the Soyuz-2 launch vehicle at the Progress RCC has begun,” RIA Novosti quotes the words of the company’s official representative.

Earlier, Deputy General Designer of the RCC "Progress" Sergei Volkov reported that the Soyuz-2 rocket, assembled for launch from Baikonur, could not be launched from Vostochny, and vice versa.

General Director of the Progress Rocket and Space Center Dmitry Baranov said that Russia intends to increase the number of Soyuz rocket launches.
