The scene is impressive. This Saturday morning around 9 am, a gas leak blew up a bakery in the rue de Treviso, right in Paris. The blast of the explosion returned the vehicles to the street and the windows were broken. Alaydine is a resident of the neighborhood, he testifies at the microphone of Europe 1.

"We were sleeping and all of a sudden we felt the explosion, we thought it was love at first sight or an earthquake," he tells the microphone in Europe 1.

A situation "controlled" according to the authorities. "I just took my things, because I heard people screaming outside, and on leaving, we saw that all the windows in the neighborhood were broken." According to reports from Europe 1, the blast came as firefighters were intervening to repair a gas leak in the street of Treviso. "I was awakened by the effect of breath", tells AFP Claire Sallavuard, who lives on 6 rue de Treviso, the building where the bakery is located. His family finally had to be evacuated by a ladder on the first floor.

Some 200 firefighters and 100 police were mobilized, according to the Minister of the Interior, who reported a "controlled" situation, around 10 hours.
