Director of the Research Center for History and Archeology of the Crimea Alexander Aybabin said that until now such items on the peninsula were not found.

"Data on this god known to science is taken to the Egyptian culture, and its image was not widespread on the Crimean territory," he explained.

According to him, the find is a bone object with a multi-figured relief circular composition, dating from the 1st century BC. In addition to the god of silence, two satyrs with attributes and a goose are depicted.

The statuette was discovered during excavations of the ancient city of Tiritaka in the southern part of present-day Kerch. After processing, the artifact will be transferred to the East Crimean Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, the "Arguments of the Week" referring to the press service of the KFU.

Earlier it was reported that from the ship sunken in the XIX century in Crimea, unopened perfume was picked up.
