On the 15th, the Israeli parliament approved an agreement to normalize diplomatic relations with the UAE = United Arab Emirates, which was realized through the mediation of the Trump administration in the United States.


If the UAE side completes the procedure in the future, diplomatic relations will be officially concluded, and it is expected that the strengthening of relations between the two countries, including economic exchanges, will accelerate.

Israel and the UAE signed a diplomatic normalization document last month in Washington, USA, in the presence of President Trump.



In response, the Israeli parliament deliberated on the agreement on the 15th and approved it with a majority in favor.

Prior to the vote, Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "The agreement will strengthen relations with Arab and Islamic countries and counter the invasion of Iran," stressing that it will be in the national interest of Israel.



The status of the approval procedure in the UAE has not been clarified so far, but if both parties complete the procedure, diplomatic relations will be officially concluded.

After the agreement, investment in the high-tech field and cooperation in the hospital business are already underway in the economic field, and on the 12th of this month, a cargo ship from the UAE carrying electronic products arrived in Israel.



In addition, on the 20th of this month, delegations from the UAE business community and others will visit Israel, and Prime Minister Netanyahu and Crown Prince Muhammad Abu Dhabi of the UAE have agreed to meet soon. Relationship strengthening is expected to accelerate.
