It was to be a press briefing as it usually is, and it was only supposed to be about the coronavirus pandemic. Donald Trump's intervention, from the White House in Washington, finally gave rise to a brief moment of concern. The President of the United States of America was speaking when the "Secret Service" interrupted him, then evacuated him to the calm of the room.

The suspect was outside the White House

A few minutes later, Donald Trump was back in front of reporters and explained that the secret services, responsible for his security, had just fired on a person "  outside the White House  ". The police shot someone,  " said the head of state, who said the individual was likely armed and was on his way to hospital. Donald Trump said the situation seemed "  totally under control  " and that he was unaware of the suspect's state of health.

The Republican candidate for reelection in November added that the incident "  may have nothing to do with (me)  ". He assured that this had not destabilized him: “  The world has always been a dangerous place. It's not something special  ”. Donald Trump, finally, slipped a few words for the services in charge of his protection: “  I feel safe with the Secret Service. They are fantastic people, the best of the best.  "
