Grahn's confectionery has two factories in Skövde where they make sweets. In the wake of the corona crisis, sales of loose-weight candy have gone down. In Sweden, orders have fallen by 50-70 percent.

- Since then, border trade with Norway has lost 95 percent because the Norwegians do not go over and trade in Sweden, says Jesper Lööw.

But the company had to deliver fairly large volumes of exports before the market actually closed down completely.

- Easter is the biggest candy festival of the whole year and the other sales peaks for us are Halloween and Christmas, so this is obviously noticeable.

The prime minister's candy message

Prime Minister Stefan Löfven emphasized at a press conference on the coronal situation in particular that parents should not let their children go around and ask for sweets this Easter.

"The Easter treats can put the broom on the parking lot," Stefan Löfven said last week.
