With the citizens' proposal, a public name collection has been opened where the Åseleborna can submit proposals on what the new name should be. And so far, many proposals have come in.

Now the ice hall in Åsele will be renamed

Following a citizen proposal from Åsele IK, it has now been decided to change the name of the ice rink, which today is simply called "ice rink". "That name is a bit sad," says Kim Lindberg at Åsele IK's office.
