The Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal has begun the trial of an Asian, accused of stealing 1 million dirhams from the safe of a house.
Details of the case are due to the defendant planning with the last (unknown) to steal a house, after monitoring the house for more than 60 days to study all the details, and know the working hours of the residents of the house, and the times of their presence outside, where the defendant entered the house and stole about one million dirhams from the treasury The suspect was arrested at his home, and the money stolen was seized on the day of the same crime, after his identity was identified through the surveillance camera.
The accused asked the court to use the utmost clemency with him, citing the crime as having to send money to his family, and the court decided to hold the case to today's hearing.
