Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal has begun the trial of an Asian accused of stealing one million dirhams from the treasury of a house in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and punished by the Court of First Instance, imprisonment for three years and deportation from the state, and the court decided to book the case for judgment.

The case papers showed that the defendant tried to deny the charges against him, faced with the recording of the surveillance camera, and the money seized in his home confessed to the crime.

During the appeal court hearing, the defendant asked the court to commute the court of first instance and use the utmost clemency with him, citing the crime as having to send money to his family, while the court decided to reserve the case for tomorrow's hearing.
