Parma, a worker crushed by an excavator dies

A 31-year-old worker of Sardinian origin lost his life in an accident at work in Antria di Monchio delle Corti, in the Parma Apennines. The man, yesterday afternoon, was working in a road construction site when he was crushed between an excavator and a containment wall reporting a severe thoracic trauma. Transported to the 'Maggiore' hospital in Parma, he died during the night due to his injuries. The Carabinieri investigate the fatal accident at the workplace.
