02 September 201921.03 At least 34 people died in a boat fire off the coast of California, near the island of Santa Cruz. The rescue team recovered four bodies in the area. This is confirmed by the head of the Coast Guard, according to whom, when the flames developed, the passengers were under cover to sleep and were probably surrounded by fire in their sleep. There would therefore be no survivors, with the exception of the 5 crew members who were on the bridge and managed to get to safety.
