"The Basmanny court received a request from the investigating authorities to take a preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of Vasilyev Dmitry Valerievich ...", - said Tsareva.
According to her, Vasiliev is suspected of committing a crime under part 2 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
The spokeswoman added that the suspect himself was not brought to court.
