Kanye West has won strong support among the most conservative American Republicans: that of Tucker Carlson. This Fox News presenter recognizes himself (almost) entirely in the program proposed by the rapper. As The Blast reports, the political journalist even believes that no one other than Ye "has been more honest or sincere or effective on fundamental conservative issues" and has done so "for several generations".

What earned Kanye West this flood of praise? First of all, his anti-abortion stance, and also his point of view on religion. "And this is where you wonder why no elected Republican has such a speech," adds Tucker Carlson, who argues that most are "afraid" to talk about sensitive topics.

Tucker Carlson goes even further. He suggests that Kanye West's bipolarity has been whittled down by the Democratic camp.

A well-crafted plot

His proof? “Just over four years ago, they published an article about Kanye West, highlighting his most famous moments like when he interrupted Taylor Swift… CNN described all of these incidents as 'controversial', he didn't was no mention that Kanye West was a danger to himself, nor did he have a mental illness, just controversial. And as soon as he said something positive about Donald Trump, everything changed in an instant, ”he added.

As a reminder, Kanye West announced himself to suffer from bipolar disorder in his album Ye , released in June 2018, two years after being hospitalized in a psychiatric unit. In October 2018, the rapper was received by Donald Trump, whom he nicknamed his "brother", at the White House.

Besides, Tucker Carlson is not at his first conspiracy theory. The Fox News anchor said last month that the sanitary measures put in place against Covid-19 were indeed a plot to promote Joe Biden's campaign. If you have trouble making the connection, the reporter explained that "the more people are unhappy, the more they want change." So, according to him, the lockdown having been imposed as a result of pressure from the Democrats, "millions of Americans have lost their jobs", have ended up depressed from the isolation, and now want to vote Democrats. "It's not complicated," Tucker Carlson added, as reported by the Huffington Post US.
