Xiang Xiang, a giant panda born at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo and returned to China last year, celebrated his 7th birthday. An event was held at the Chinese Embassy to share his current status.
They seemed to be getting used to the local environment and appeared to be doing well and eating their favorite bamboo shoots. Xiang Xiang grew up listening to Japanese at Ueno zoo, but the local zookeeper said, "After three months in China, Xiang Xiang started responding to Chinese"
