After dark, the prefect of Calvados calls all the demonstrators to the responsibility and to stop their operations and rallies on the public road, this Saturday, November 17, at 17 h 30. "Calvados deplores, since this morning, three slight injuries among protesters "yellow vests" and conditions become too dangerous, " notes the prefect in a statement.

Locking points still in place

It remains, this Saturday night, a few points of blockages filtering with much less protesters present on site:

Porte d'Espagne, in Caen, several hundred people are still present at the blue roundabout at 18:30. The ring road remains closed from exit 11 at exit 14 (from Norman Switzerland to Cormelles).

At the exit of the A84, the dam remains filtering and, door of Paris, the exit of the A13 in the direction Paris-Caen towards the South device was closed. Access to the northern ring road from RD513 (La Criée / Giberville roundabout) is also impossible.

In Éterville and Cairon, a filter dam is still in place. Just as Porte du Bessin, on the RN13.

In Lisieux, traffic remains very difficult on the whole ring road.

In Bayeux, filter dams remain in place on four roundabouts: Eisenhower, Vaucelles, the old road of Caen, the road of Saint-Lô.

And finally at Vire, three dams filtering are to be reported, including the roundabout of the clock.

Finally in the city center of Caen, there is only about forty people to roam the streets. They were up to 1,500 throughout the day.

For the day, the prefecture estimates at 4,500 the number of yellow vests that demonstrated this Saturday, November 17.

Arrests outside the mobilization

"Faced with irresponsible and dangerous behavior, a person was arrested and placed in custody, the latter having forced a dam and slightly injured a protester," said the prefecture. Another highlight, a motorcyclist who was traveling more than 200 km / h on the ring was arrested and placed in custody "for very large speeding and endangering the lives of others."
