[HIGHLIGHTS] DRC: in the National Assembly, the opposition is organized around Moïse Katumbi's party

In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the party of opponent Moïse Katumbi has appointed its group president in the National Assembly. Christian Mwando, MP from Tanganyika, will be responsible for leading the elected representatives of Together.

With around twenty elected officials, Ensemble is the first opposition force in this Assembly resulting from the December 2023 elections in the DRC. It remains to be seen who will play the role of leader of the opposition, says Christian M wando.
