A male harbor seal baby was born on the 27th at Oga Aquarium GAO in Oga City. The baby, covered in white downy hair, is approximately 73 centimeters long and weighs approximately 12.5 kilograms.
According to the aquarium, the white hair will fall off in about 3 weeks, and after that, a mottled pattern similar to the mother's will appear. The name has not yet been decided, and the aquarium plans to call for a name from the public.
