The Israeli occupation forces arrested on Monday morning the governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, from his home in the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem, and Shadi developer of the Fatah movement in Jerusalem after they assaulted him in his house in the suburb of Beit Hanina, and arrested the movement's secretary in Issawiya Yasser Darwish.

According to Ghaith's lawyer, the arrest was against the background of what the occupation calls to work with the Palestinian Authority within the borders of Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem governorate condemned the arrest, stressing that "the attack on the symbols of Jerusalem, especially the conservative falls within the framework of targeting the Palestinian presence in Jerusalem and targeting national figures Jerusalem."

This is not the first time that the Governor of Jerusalem was arrested during the year. In addition, he received a military order from the Central Command commander to prevent him from entering the West Bank for six months, and not to be present or directly or indirectly with a group of Palestinian figures. Certain.

The Israeli army invades the town daily in an attempt to stop the implementation of the tourist project, under the pretext of obstructing the entry of settlers to the archaeological site to be held celebrations, amid its closure to the citizens and prevent them.

Judaization war
The governor of Jerusalem stressed in a statement issued by his office on Sunday on the Arabism of the holy city, and the Islamic Al-Aqsa Mosque in every part of it and every grain of its soil.

Ghaith explained that the occupied capital is living a war of Judaization through raids, arrests, confiscation of property, house demolitions, racial discrimination and alienation in various fields.

Ghaith appealed to the Palestinian people, especially the Jerusalemites and the people of Palestine in 48 and all who can reach the Al-Aqsa Mosque and confront the plans that target its existence and structure, the permanent presence in it to thwart any attempt to harm it.

Governor Ghaith's statement came in response to statements by the Israeli Minister of Internal Security Gilad Ardan, the escalation of Israeli raids on the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Jewish extremists during the Jewish holidays, which described the governor of Jerusalem as "dangerous and irresponsible and lead the region to an unrelenting religious conflict."
