Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman and CEO of DP World, signed three memoranda of understanding with Dovertawar, a company owned by the partner in the port of the Israeli shipbuilding and repair yards in Haifa and the partner in the port of Eilat, Shlomi Vogel.

The MoUs cover areas of cooperation that include: the evaluation of "DP World" the development of Israeli ports, as well as the development of free zones, the possibility of establishing a direct shipping line between the ports of "Eilat" and "Jebel Ali", in addition to the contribution of "Dubai Customs" in facilitating trade between institutions. From both sides, through the application of the best smooth and innovative customs practices, and the exploration of "dry docks World" opportunities to work with the Israeli shipbuilding and repair yards, on the principle of joint ventures, to develop, manufacture and market the products of the shipbuilding and repair yards.
