The Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation said in a statement today that EgyptAir will suspend all flights to and from China from the first Saturday of February due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.

The statement added that flights to and from Hangzhou will stop on the first of February, followed by the suspension of flights to and from Guangzhou and Beijing on the fourth of February until further notice.

The ministry stated in the statement that the company decided to "suspend its flights between Cairo airports and Chinese airports from tomorrow, Saturday, until further notice, in the framework of facing the spread of the new Corona virus."

The statement indicated that the last Chinese tourist group in Egypt will leave on the fourth of February.
