The instant messaging application

WhatsApp

has stopped working, at least in part of the Spanish territory, around 8:15 p.m. this Wednesday. Immediately and as is usual in these cases, users who have not been able to send or receive their messages have begun to ask on social networks if it worked for others.

The problems in WhatsApp, an application that belongs to Meta - the conglomerate that also includes Facebook and Instagram - are also felt in DownDetector. This platform collects information in real time about the current status of other services and already shows almost 20,000 incident notifications on WhatsApp.
