According to information from Europe 1, two paintings, worth 80,000 euros, were stolen yesterday morning from the grounds of the Janson de Sailly school complex located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. The main administrative officer of the establishment filed a complaint.

Bad surprise for the teaching team of the Janson de Sailly school complex located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. According to information from Europe 1, two paintings, with an estimated value of 80,000 euros and whose owner is neither more nor less than the National Center for Plastic Arts, were stolen yesterday morning.

No camera

Temporarily installed in a room of the school used as a CDI then as a gymnasium, the two works were exhibited, with other paintings, so that students could come and contemplate them. An absence finally noticed during the inventory carried out in storage. Unfortunately, no cameras are installed in the school hall where they were displayed.

The principal administrative officer and the representative of Janson de Sailly went to the 16th arrondissement police station where a complaint was filed.
