Making artificial intelligence richer in Africa is also one of the fights of the Indaba community which, after meeting in South Africa, Kenya and Tunisia, gathered a few months ago in Ghana.
The idea is to draw on the diversity of African languages to create tools more interesting than ChatGPT.
Researchers are particularly active there, like the two Instadeep collaborators Rihab Gorsane and Omayma Mahjoub, authors of a particularly noted article.
