Nugu Burger
has been consecrated as the Best Restaurant in Spain in home delivery service in the
IX edition of the Just Eat Awards,
which recognize the work and excellence of the restaurants and businesses attached to the delivery company, with some 29,000 establishments throughout the national territory. The burger restaurant with four locations in Madrid has been the most valued by users of the platform, who have also voted it as the Best Restaurant in the Downtown area.
The ceremony, which in this edition has had 40% more restaurants registered and 60% more votes from users compared to the previous year, was attended by Marta Nieto, general director of Commerce, Consumption and Services of the Community of Madrid, and Emilio Gallego, general secretary of the Spanish Hospitality Business Confederation, who have presented the awards.
"We are happy to see how the awards, once again, are distributed geographically throughout Spain, showing the variety and quality of the more than 29,000 establishments that are on our platform. This year we have broken records in user participation with their votes and our delivery people," says Iñigo Barea, general director of Just Eat Spain.

Among the 22 awards, a novelty in this edition is the recognition for the Best Rated Restaurant by the firm's Delivery Drivers, more than 2,000 throughout Spain, which has been awarded to
Rosca Pizza
, also from Madrid (Av. de Monforte de Lemos, 123). , and the Best Store in Spain, a category that
Delicatessen Argentina
has won , in Barcelona.
"Recognizing the talent and good work of professionals and companies in the sector is always important. Especially when you take into account a trend that has had a great boom in recent years, such as delivery and takeaway, which responds to the new trends and consumer needs on the part of the client, and in which the establishments are making great efforts to optimize their proposal", declares Emilio Gallego, Secretary General of Hospitality of Spain.
In this ninth edition, the Just Eat Awards are divided into three categories: by type of food, by geographical area and special categories.
