On Thursday, a 31-year-old man of Syrian nationality attacked with a knife six people, including four young children, on the shores of Lake Annecy. If the man has been placed in custody, his victims are in absolute emergency and their state of health raises a lot of concern.

Horror scene in Annecy. This Thursday, a 31-year-old man attacked six people, including four young children, in this town in Haute-Savoie. The attack, carried out with a knife, was committed at the Pâquier, a park frequented by families on the shores of Lake Annecy. While the suspect, a Syrian national, was taken into custody for attempted murder, the victims were taken to hospital and several of them are in a life-threatening emergency. Concretely, what do we know about their state of health this Thursday evening?

A victim hit by the police

This Thursday evening, there are four children in life-threatening emergency. Aged 22 months, 2 and 3 years, they are of different nationalities. If two of these children, cousins, are French, the other two young victims are a Dutchman and an Englishman. One was transferred to the hospital in Geneva and the other three to the University Hospital of Grenoble, and their condition is very worrying this Thursday evening. They suffer injuries and injuries in vital areas.

An adult is also in absolute emergency. This elderly person was stabbed but was also hit by a bullet fired by the police, who intervened to neutralize the assailant. It has unfortunately injured this victim whose state of health also raises a lot of concern and obviously proof of the total confusion that reigned in Annecy this Thursday morning.
