The motorist will be able to leave. After about ten minutes, he tested negative for cocaine, heroin, cannabis and methamphetamines, but during this operation, three were tested positive. One of them was even taken into custody. Colonel Pierre Simon notes that his department is no longer spared: "There are also more rural or mountainous ones. During winter sports, there has also been an increase in consumption."

Deputy prosecutor Jean-François Dobeli even notes that on the road, in terms of offenses, drugs are much more often involved than alcohol. "On criminal conduct, we are practically at a ratio of 75-25. " 25% is for driving under the influence of alcohol and 75% is drug by-products," he said. The drugs most often come from nearby Spain, but also from Toulouse and trade is facilitated by social networks, which leads the gendarmes to monitor these channels in particular.
