After having caused a serious car accident under the influence of cocaine and having led to the death of a six and a half month fetus, Pierre Palmade is now targeted by an investigation for child pornography.

The actor was first indicted for manslaughter and is still under investigation for possession and use of narcotics.

On Friday February 10 around 7 p.m., Pierre Palmade caused a serious accident on the departmental road D372 in Seine-et-Marne.

Tested positive for cocaine, the actor hit a vehicle.

In addition to the driver, two passengers were on board.

More than a week after the events, the comedian is the subject of three investigations, including one that does not concern the accident.

Europe 1 takes stock.

Indictment for injury and manslaughter

The first is an investigation for "injury and manslaughter".

The offense resulted in incapacity for work of more than three months, according to the details of the public prosecutor of Melun, Jean-Michel Bourlès.

The latter adds that a third vehicle would have hit that of the family, "in the context of an accident".

On Wednesday, February 15, five days after the accident, the family lawyer announced the particularly worrying medical condition of the victims.

While two of them "were still in intensive care", according to Me Mourad Battikh, 27, the driver's sister-in-law lost her "first child".

As for him, the 38-year-old driver "has undergone seven operations" while his son is "disfigured"

The same day, Pierre Palmade was placed in police custody after being transferred to Melun hospital.

An investigation for use and "acquisition of narcotics"

Very soon after the accident caused by the comedian, his toxicological analyzes showed consumption of narcotics, cocaine in this case, before driving.

The state of legal recidivism was therefore retained by the Melun prosecution, "for having been sentenced in 2019 for acquiring narcotics".

The 50-year-old had already been the subject of a first conviction in 1995 for cocaine consumption.

According to information from BFMTV, another investigation was then opened for "possession and use of narcotics" supervised by the prosecution.

In the meantime, the 54-year-old actor was placed under an electronic bracelet in a hospital addiction service, at the end of his 48 hours in police custody.

The Melun prosecution, which had requested his placement in pre-trial detention, appealed this decision.

Two days after the accident, the actor's home, in Cély-en-Bière in Seine-et-Marne, had been searched, without conclusive evidence.

Opening of an investigation for child pornography

It all starts with a report made by a man to the police on Saturday afternoon by dialing 17. The individual says he is close to the comedian and would have indicated that he had in his possession videos and audio recordings proving that Pierre Palmade had child pornography images.

The author of this report was heard on Sunday by investigators from the Minors Protection Brigade in order to verify in particular whether these accusations were founded.

The comedian's Parisian home was searched this Sunday afternoon.

According to the prosecution joined by Europe 1, computer equipment was seized and the operation of the computers will take time.

Depending on what the investigators find, Pierre Palmade could be placed once again in police custody in order to be heard.

If these facts were proven, he would incur a sentence of 5 years in prison and a fine of 75,000 euros.
