Police have arrested a mother in her 20s who left her 2-year-old son alone at home for three days and eventually died.
A 24-year-old female A was arrested on suspicion of child abuse and death under the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Child Abuse Crimes.
Mr. A is accused of leaving her 2-year-old son at home alone for three days from the 30th of last month and going out and killing him.
It was found that Mr. A left her house around 2:00 pm on the 30th of last month and returned at 2:00 am today (2nd).
The police arrived at around 3:50 am after receiving a report from Mr. A that her child was not breathing, confirmed her abuse charges and arrested her.
