A 10-year-old man has been sentenced to prison for stealing money and valuables from the inside of a vehicle with unfolded side mirrors. 



On the 26th, the 8th detective of the Seoul Eastern District Court (Presiding Judge Koo Ja-gwang) charged Mr. A (19) with charges of theft, violation of the Road Traffic Act (driving without a license), illegal use of a car, attempted theft, fraud, and theft at night. was sentenced to one year in prison.



From May to July of last year, Mr. A is accused of stealing four vehicles and stealing money and other items from the inside of the vehicle in Songpa-gu, Seoul, Gumi and Chilgok, Gyeongbuk, and Dong-gu, Daegu.



He committed the crime centering on a parked car whose side mirrors were not folded.

This vehicle is aimed at the fact that the door is likely to be open. 



If the door was open, they stole money such as wallets and handbags from the car, and if they had car keys, they even stole the car. 



At the time, Mr. A did not have a driver's license. 



It is known that the stolen goods were sold on second-hand trading sites without properly checking whether they were luxury goods, causing a total of 1.43 million won in fraudulent damage.  



In addition, he is also accused of attempting 17 times because he went inside the vehicle but there was no money or he pulled the vehicle handle but did not open it. 



As a result of the prosecution's investigation, it was found that Mr. A was suffering from hearing and language impairment and committed the crime mainly to raise money for living expenses and gambling. 



In addition, it was revealed that less than a month had passed since he was sentenced to imprisonment for the same type of crime. 



The prosecution said, "The crime is not light in light of the crime method, the number of crimes, and the duration of the crime." In one month, each of the crimes in this case began to be committed, and a prison sentence for Mr. A is inevitable.”
