Korea Airports Corporation Jeju Airport announced that it plans to add 38 temporary domestic flights (21 departures, 17 arrivals) to transport passengers on canceled flights when flight operations resume tomorrow (25th).



Based on Jeju Airport departures, 21 additional temporary flights are added, and by route, 16 flights from Gimpo, 2 from Incheon, 2 from Busan, and 1 from Daegu, for a total of 5,503 seats.



Jeju Air is negotiating with airlines to increase temporary flights.



An additional flight will be added based on international arrivals.



As a result, the total number of flights operated including tomorrow's temporary flight is 510, including 499 domestic flights (251 departures, 248 arrivals) and 11 international flights (5 departures, 6 arrivals).



A total of 476 flights, including 466 domestic flights (233 departures, 233 arrivals) and 10 international flights (5 departures, 5 arrivals), were all canceled at Jeju Airport today due to strong winds.



It is expected that the availability of flights tomorrow will be decided by tomorrow morning.



Jeju Airport estimated that 35,000 to 40,000 passengers were stranded in Jeju due to flight cancellations.
