Rep. Kim Ki-hyun wrote on Facebook that "'Women's Civil Defense Training' is essential survival education to keep peace" about the amendment to the Basic Civil Defense Act, which he recently proposed to include 'women in civil defense training'.

Rep. Kim Ki-hyun explained, "Civil defense education is conducted only for 'men' between the ages of 20 and 40. In other words, women are left completely defenseless without any knowledge for survival in wartime."

Rep. Kim Ki-hyeon pointed out that the bill was aimed at the so-called 'Lee Dae-nam' (male in his 20s), saying, "Rather, the political world proposed a topic that was taboo due to the vote." It provides a minimum of knowledge, and that alone will raise a kind of war deterrence against North Korea," he repeatedly suggested for discussion in the National Assembly.

Rep. Cheol-soo Ahn pointed to President Yoon Seok-yeol's recent trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on social media, saying, "Former President Rhee Syng-man, who was an outstanding diplomatic strategist, succeeded in incorporating the United States into the destiny of the Republic of Korea by signing a Korea-US Mutual Defense Treaty at his persistent request." The diplomatic strategy of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration is also focused on pragmatic diplomacy for the national interest.”

Rep. Ahn Cheol-soo said, "The Moon Jae-in administration pushed for an unreasonable nuclear power plant policy and withdrew economic cooperation with the UAE." he explained.

Regarding the controversy over President Yoon's remarks, "Iran is the enemy of the UAE," he said, "The criterion for evaluating the president's diplomacy is our national interest, not the reaction of other countries." "There is also a tendency to borrow the perspectives of other countries and underestimate our diplomacy," he criticized.

"It would be difficult for anyone to deny that President Yoon Seok-yeol's state visit to the UAE was economic diplomacy that greatly contributed to our national interest," he said.

Former lawmaker Na Gyeong-won, who is scheduled to announce her candidacy-related position immediately after the Lunar New Year holidays, continued the 'quiet holiday' today (23rd) without any special schedule or message.
