Today (22nd) at around 6:16 am, a fire of unknown cause broke out in a 5-story residential complex in Jungang Market, Sangdang-gu, Cheongju-si.
The fire burned 100 square meters inside the building and bowling supplies on the stairs, causing property damage worth 12 million won and extinguished in about 3 hours.
The fire forced 76 residents to evacuate.
Some residents inhaled the smoke, but fortunately no one was injured.
The police and fire authorities believe that the fire was caused by the load on the stairs in the building and are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
