Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min issued an emergency order to respond to the fire to related organizations in the morning of the 20th in Guryong Village, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Minister Lee ordered, "Local governments such as Seoul and Gangnam-gu, as well as fire authorities and police, mobilize all their administrative powers to put out fires and save lives, and to ensure the safety of firefighters."
Currently, the fire is spreading from District 4 to District 5 of Guryong Village, and 15 households have been destroyed.
The second stage of firefighting response has been issued, and the situation of human and property damage is under investigation.
The fire department and related organizations such as Gangnam-gu are cooperating to extinguish the fire and search and rescue.
