Apple on Wednesday introduced the

second generation of its

HomePod smart home speaker with better acoustics and new ways to manage and control your home.

The American technology indicated that the

HomePod, with a more refined design

, has an "incredible audio quality with rich, deep bass and amazing high frequencies," according to a statement.

Among other things, the speaker's S7 chip is combined with

sensitive technology

and software that allows it to recognize sound bouncing off nearby surfaces and adapt to create an immersive experience.

linked to other accessories

to create a smart home ecosystem, including the iPhone and Apple TV.

Likewise, it has the ability to

listen to smoke or carbon monoxide alarms

and send a notice to the linked iPhone, and it has temperature and humidity sensors that allow it to regulate the home environment.

The new

HomePod features recycled gold in its

printed circuit boards and rare elements of the mineral world also recycled in the speaker magnet, elements aimed at reducing its environmental impact.

The device will be on sale from Friday, February 3 in the United States for a price of

$299,

and will also go on the market in Spain, France, the United Kingdom and other countries.
