The National Intelligence Service is conducting a search and seizure at the office of the National Federation of Democratic Trade Unions in Jung-gu, Seoul.
The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions protested the entry of the NIS and the police, and confronted and clashed with NIS investigators and police officers.
The National Intelligence Service, which is currently investigating the case of an underground espionage organization, said, "We have secured related evidence after several years of internal affairs."
Meanwhile, at the same time, the NIS launched a search and seizure of the office of the Health and Medical Union in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the same charge.
