While a woman jumped out of a window after hearing the news of the police dispatch at an illegal gambling den, police arrested two gambling den operators who fled the scene.
Today (17th), the Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul announced that it had booked without detention a man in his 60s and a man in his 70s for operating an illegal gambling hall.
They are accused of opening and operating a gambling hall on the second floor of a commercial building in Jangan-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul from 2021 until recently.
Previously, the police were dispatched to the scene on the night of the 12th after receiving a report that "an acquaintance gambles without paying back."

They were taken to a nearby hospital, but one died on the 15th and the other was seriously injured and is currently being treated.
Police arrested two men who fled the scene at the time of the incident and are investigating the circumstances.
