Kim Seong-tae, former chairman of Ssangbang-ul, moved to the airport from the Bangkok Foreigner Shelter where he was staying after being arrested around 11:00 pm last night.

Former Chairman Kim is expected to board an Asiana flight to Korea shortly and arrive at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 around 8:00 am.

Afterwards, he is expected to go straight to the Suwon District Prosecutor's Office in a prosecutor's convoy and receive an intensive investigation into the allegations raised so far.

First of all, the charges of embezzlement of company money of 10 billion won and breach of trust of 400 billion won, which were previously indicated in the arrest warrant, are counted first.

Also under investigation is the suspicion that he smuggled 6.4 million dollars, which he claims to be personal money, to China and handed over to North Korean figures.

In addition, it is expected that the investigation will continue on the suspicion that he paid attorney fees for Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung's election law violation case.

Former Chairman Kim said in a media interview the day before yesterday that he had never met or talked to CEO Lee, and that his life was ruined because of Lee Jae-myeong.

Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon downplayed the interview with former Chairman Kim.
