The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it will issue Seoul Sarang gift certificates worth 300 billion won for each district for the Lunar New Year holiday and sell them at a 7% discount.

Gift certificates are issued over two days for smooth purchase.

In 13 autonomous districts, including Gangbuk-gu and Gwangjin-gu, you can live on the day after tomorrow (the 18th), and in 12 autonomous districts, including Jung-gu and Gangdong-gu, you can live on the 19th.

Purchases can be made in 5 applications, including 'Seoul Pay Plus', and the purchase limit per person is 700,000 won.

Purchased gift certificates can only be used at affiliated stores in the relevant autonomous district. For example, Jung-gu Sarang Gift Certificates can only be used at affiliated stores in Jung-gu.

Unused gift certificates can be canceled in full regardless of the holding period.

If you partially spend, the balance will only be refunded if you have used more than 60% of your balance.

Gift certificates can be gifted freely within the limit of possession.

The city plans to restrict some of the app's functions, such as finding affiliate stores, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the 18th and 19th, the date of sale of gift certificates, to prevent a congestion of concurrent users.

The city also operates a service in which users directly transfer the balance of gift certificates in 24 Seoul Love Gift Certificate payment apps that they used until last year, such as Biffle Zero Pay and Check Pay, to 5 apps, including Seoul Pay Plus.

If you launch one of the apps you have been using and click the 'Transfer' menu, the balance will be transferred to the Seoul Pay Plus app at once.
