Korean and Thai investigative authorities, who have been tracking the former chairman of Ssangbangwool Kim Seong-tae, understand that former chairman Kim has been assisted by lawyers, businessmen and gangsters in Thailand.

An official from the investigation authorities said, "Especially in the case of lawyers, they belong to a leading law firm in Thailand."

The escape, which lasted eight months with all-out assistance, ended at a golf course in Bangkok.

[Former Chairman Kim Seong-tae's caddy: I was that person's (Kim Seong-tae's) caddy.

Four people played golf together, and there were three vehicles.

After (golf) was over, the police came and took me over there.

According to the Bangkok police

, former Chairman Kim was caught using a mobile phone provided by an assistant and was tracked.

An unexpected variable has arisen in the prosecution's investigation of former Chairman Kim, who is to be extradited to Korea on the 17th.

Mr. Kim, the head of the group's finance headquarters, who fled at the same time as former chairman Kim and is currently imprisoned in Pattaya, Thailand, suddenly withdrew his intention to return to Korea yesterday (13th) and announced that he would resume the trial for refusal to return.

In this case, repatriation to Korea may be delayed for up to one year or more.

The prosecution suspects that Mr. Kim, who is called the 'safekeeper', has been in charge of managing the group's funds and was also involved in the suspicion of paying attorney fees related to Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party leader.

Due to the sudden choice of Mr. Kim, the head of the Finance and Economy Headquarters, it is expected that some setbacks will be inevitable in the prosecution's pressure on former Chairman Kim.
