The 'transit music' that symbolizes the Seoul subway will be replaced after 14 years.

The Seoul Transportation Corporation announced that it will change the background music for transfer announcements on subway lines 1 to 8 sequentially from the 16th to February from the current 'Eolssiguya' to 'Plenty'.

It has been 14 years since the selection of 'Eolssiguya' by composer Kim Baek-chan in March 2009 that the transfer background music for the Seoul subway has been changed.

The Seoul Transportation Corporation announced that it had finally selected 'Plenty' by composer Park Kyung-hoon, who received the highest vote rate through a citizen preference survey in October of last year.

Regarding the reason for changing the transfer background music for the first time in 14 years, Seoul Transportation Corporation said, "We decided to introduce new transfer music to provide psychological stability to customers tired of Corona 19 and reflect changing trends." I will try my best," he said.

'Eolssiguya', which has been in charge of transferring subways in Seoul for 14 years, bids farewell to the citizens at the end of January.
