The police are investigating and arresting the daughter who lived together, Mr. A, in his 40s, on suspicion of abandoning the body.
The police estimate that it was left unattended for more than two years after death based on the fact that a memo was found inside the house that said, "My mother died in August 2020."
In addition, Mr. A's mother is eligible for basic pension, so she also confirmed that she received a pension of 300,000 won per month from 2009.
